All of our undergraduate and graduate programmes are delivered by specialist staff across a network of academic and clinical locations. The School was originally based in Earlsfort Terrace, next to Stephens Green in Dublin's City Centre and moved in 2007 to our new head-quarters in the UCD Campus in Belfield, Dublin 4. There are currently over 2,200 students within our six undergraduate degree programmes, of which 31% are international.  Our student population comprises more than 60 nationalities, and international students now account for one-third of undergraduate students from 152 nationalities worldwide.  This diversity is one of the defining features of life at UCD, which enriches the exciting student experience by delivering a truly international campus.

The Medical School is collaborating closely with the UCD School of Nursing and Midwifery on the new innovative, Graduate Programme in Primary Care Nursing.  This exciting Diploma is at the cutting edge of applied and academic Nurse training in Ireland. It is being delivered with vital input from members of the UCD Coombe Family Practice Nursing Team and GP Faculty, marrying student-centred teaching, clinical excellence and research rigour to train our future Primary Care Nurse leaders.

One Health UCD
This Diploma is a flagship example of the UCD partnership between the Medical, Nursing and Public Health Schools to further the University's One Health strategy. One Helath uses multi-disciplinary teams that are solution focussed leveraging their diversity of thought as a strength. In the UCD Coombe family Practice, we demonstrate an authentic One Health approach as our GPs, Nurses, Academics Managers and Administrators collaborate with Clinicians, Allied Health Professionals, and civil servants across the Health System, serving the needs of our Patients, Students and Community.
